Saskatoon is always a good time

Had lots of fun performing at the Park Town Hotel; the crowds and the staff are great. This makes me especially happy as I will be spending 5-weeks in Saskatoon doing corporate Christmas shows starting in mid-November. This is why I wanted to walk the area and see what was around. I brought my camera so you too could see what I saw.

I was alone for the drive back to Calgary because Nile was catching a 6:30pm flight out of Saskatoon. My rental car needed to be returned before noon, so I had to head out early. At 5:30am I had checked out of the hotel, loaded the car and was having a tough time finding a gas station that was open at that time on a Sunday morning. At 5:55am I was finally on my way with a full tank of fuel & a coffee. Fifteen minutes later a deer jumped out on to the road in front of me. Luckily it was in the other lane and stopped just short of coming into my lane. Well… that really wakes a person up in the morning.

A few hours later, when the sun was up I saw 3 moose. This time, they were far enough up the road I was able to take out my camera and snap a photo.

It was a long boring drive, so I decided to pull out my video camera and kill some time. If you want to watch it, click HERE.
