... when there is nothing really to write about.Today I met up with a friend to catch up on life and have a coffee (I had a chai latte). She is pregnant and starting to show. Which means strange women want to rub her belly. In case anyone is wondering: she hates that.
I remember the days of being a pregnancy husband and I was a good one. There was nothing I wouldn’t do to help out. I clipped toe nails then put nail polish in them. I shaved legs and “other” areas. Most importantly, I lied when it was necessary; When she was 8 and a half months along,“yes, they baby does weight 56lbs”.
When they were little, I would stare into their little faces hoping they would find happiness in life and have a future doing something they truly loved. Now I just hope the turn off the lights before they leave the house and they fill the Brita water container instead of putting it away empty.
