Fort St. John British Columbia - Thursday & Friday December 1 & 2, 2005

Our drive to Northern B.C. was almost uneventful. All was clear until a huge deer ran into the road in front of us. Obviously we missed it, or I wouldn’t be typing this now. A big THANK YOU to Tim. Not cause he spotted the mammoth mammal; he was rather useless at the time it darted onto the road. Earlier that day, he told a car / moose story which had me paranoid and constantly scanning the tree line and not just the road. Damn it was large. We missed it by about 20 feet.

We had two show at “On the Rocks” while we were there. Both had fantastic crowds. It is one of my favorite rural rooms, as the people there really want to have a fun time when they are out.

While the shows were fun, the motel room left a lot to be desired. The heat was on the fritz and the faucet in the washroom was never really able to shut off. The shower pressure was too powerful; to the point it was painful. If you are going to rent a hotel room for an evening and you discover there is a strip-club on the premises… Go somewhere else.
